Each year we find a few minutes to take an obligatory Texas photo - a small child sitting in the bluebonnets. Each year EK waters the state flowers with his tears. Look back at this BIG yearly tradition.

Look closely. EK couldn't really sit up very well yet as he was only a few months old. That is mr. mil10's arm propping him up.

The year our computer crashed. We took pictures, but we lost them!

In the first picture you can see where we actually made it without any tears! However, when we posed for pictures at the Dallas Arboretum, the tears returned.
2010
It has become normal to expect a few tears. That's ok. You may think it would ruin a photo opportunity, but these are actually some of my favorites. It is just a memory of the experience. Besides, we have many more smiling, happy photos than all of the ones where EK is upset.
